SESSION GIVEAWAY WINNER

First off, thank you, thank you, thank you – to everyone who entered and left such heartfelt and wonderful comments. I truly did not expect such a great turnout but I’m so appreciative of all of the love and support

I made the announcement a little while ago on Facebook, but huge congrats to Sydney Henschel for her win!

And for those of you wondering, the Faceook comments were organized in chronological order as is available by the Facebook comment plug-in

THE SESSION GIVEAWAY

This has been a loooooong time in the coming, but it’s finally here! In celebration of the new website and hitting 500+ fans on the old Facebook page, I am giving away a free session to one lucky Facebook fan!

The grand prize includes:

Waived creative fee for a pet or engagement/couples session – sessions are typically an hour and a half to two hours long and are always a ton of fun…promise!
One 5×7 print
Travel within 40 miles of zip code 29812 (SC) or within 30 miles of zip code 20678 (MD)
Up to two pets from the same home or one couple
Approximately 30-45 final images presented at an in-person ordering appointment 10-14 days after the session
Your own feature on the blog

Additional prints and products may be purchased separately.

Those who wish to enter have until Tuesday evening at 8PM, and the winner will be chosen at random using the random number generator at Random.org first thing Wednesday morning. If the chosen winner has not liked the wall post on the Facebook page, a new winner will be chosen. Good luck, I can’t wait to work with one of you!!

Girl you know why I would love to win a free session! You capture life, pure happiness and love! I would love a cozy fall session to show the beauty of my favorite time of year!!!! This time of year means so much to me. My birthday is in November Robby proposed in November we were married a year later in November and then a year later found out we were pregnant with Maddy. I just think it would be awesome to have another session sooner rather than later. Cause even if I don’t win, I will see you summer of 2012!

I would love to win a session with you taking pictures of my dog Summer(she is 11) I have watched you over the years trying to figure out what you wanted to do….and look at what you found. Your pictures amaze me. That is why I would love you to photograph Summer so I will always have beautiful memories of my girl!

I would LOVE to win a free session from you! I think your work is fantastic. There is something captivating in your photos, whether it comes from the subjects themselves, your passion for your work, or a combination of both. I have always loved the way photos can capture a moment in time and I myself try to get fancy with my little Canon Powershot! If I felt I was creative enough, I would have loved to do a little photography on the side. However, art (of any type) is not my forte…so I live vicariously through others’ work instead! I would use the session to get photos done with me and my sister. You know a little about my family and my sister and I have gotten extremely close over the last few years. I want to do some shots that reflect our relationship…and how much we look alike (or so everyone says!).

So impressed with how you’ve taken your company off the ground and pursued what you love! I hope everything is well (and warmer) in da south!

I would LOVE to win a free session with you! Michael and I have NEVER had photos taken of us, EVER (not even our wedding). We are celebrating 10 years together this winter and i think it is time for us to get some professional family photos. We love your work with LLR and feel your style compliments our family. I think we have a lot in common and feel your knowledge of dogs, horses, and people will make our session unforgetable.

Because every time someone walks into Sea Island Animal Hospital and comments on the changes we are making, I always point out your beautiful photographs on our wall and hand them your buisiness card! well as you know matt and I just got engaged and are currently planning out wedding. With all the expenses being paid for out of own pocket having professional pictures taken really doesnt fit into our budget. i’d love to have great pictures to have out on display for our guest during our wedding. not to mention if there is anyone i want to take our picture it’s you. i absolutely adore the pictures you take!!

I would love a free session to capture our 9 lb black Raven. Raven was my brother’s dog and we adopted her when he passed away suddenly three years ago in Columbia, SC. She was a rescue dog who was terribly abused before my brother took her in. Having her in our Maryland home has helped my three girls deal with their uncle’s passing and taught us all patience and love as we deal with her small size and big fears (of raindrops, sudden noises, and doorbells She has made us slow down and be more gentle. This little dog is a big part of our family but SHE IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A GOOD PICTURE OF. All that black hair and black eyes, I have never been able to get a good picture of her! I would love to see what you could capture!

I just bought a new Nikon D3100 and have been attempting to take a pictures but I would love to learn from the master! LINDSEY & CHRIS – Maryland wedding photographer

Lindsey and Chris were married last Saturday on on absolutely perfectly warm fall day in North Beach, Md. Although they’d had plenty of the unexpected come up in the weeks prior to the wedding, the actual day went off without a hitch.

If your unfamiliar with the Chesapeake Beach/North Beach area, it’s such a cute little coastal town that sits right on the Chesapeake Bay. Since Lindsey and Chris grew up in the area, now live in North Beach, and have family and friends that all live close by, it was only fitting to hold all of the festivities smack in the middle of “home.” Just my kind of wedding

The girls got ready at Lindsey’s parents house about 3 miles from the ceremony site, while the guys got ready at Chris’s brothers house, which is close enough that it allowed them to walk to the ceremony. The short and sweet ceremony took place on the boardwalk in North Beach, we shot formals on the beach, did a champagne toast, and then we all made the walk down the boardwalk to a private residence where the reception was held. Talk about laid-back, fun, and relaxed

Lindsey and Chris were so incredibly happy to be married and their attitudes and excitement throughout the day were contagious. Just this past June they welcomed their first child, Luke, and the wedding truly was a celebration of them officially becoming a family. Now their family and friends…these two have the COOLEST family and friends, and the reception was such a fun party for everyone. Emotional, too, with the beautiful toasts and Lindsey’s emotional first dance with her dad as her twin sister looked on. Just all around an amazing day.

Lindsey, Chris, and Luke, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of such a special day. It truly is an honor to be able to tell the story of one of the most important days of your life, and I wish you three only the best as your family grows
